VEZZOSI
Evocations from oblivion
"In his works, the lines mutate, transform, and convert the plane into universes where it is possible to discover their own in a crackle of lines and colors, mazes and territories to explore.
His works transcend the plane, they escape and seek to materialize the line in space, and it is there where his delicate and ethereal installations are born, which evoke elements of nature, of his immediate environment, on the banks of the Paraná, where he lives and produces his work".
Secretary of Culture from the Province of Catamarca
An expansive labyrinth, with ethereal traces drawing the context, a proposal without borders, where the limit between the object and the surrounding space introduce us to open, dynamic forms to create the illusion of movement and volatility.
Guillermo Anselmo Vezzosi is an artist who models and modulates his drawings, using playful, negative/positive spaces and their shadows to create unique and fleeting compositions.
In his works, the line –as an initial element and concept- advances, unfolds and leaves the formal plane of representation to compose ethereal installations.
He creates suspended scenarios that are modified by the personal experience of that other whom he invites to participate. Through a crackling of colors and territories to explore, he suggests a singular universe, populated by complex constellations.
In a multiplied evolution of gazes, the dialogue with the observer-actor on which the work is reconstructed is gestated, that great vibrant fabric.
