Structures of memory
Steles
Structures of Memory…Stelas is a project that proposes to work from Water and, from it, generate a way to commemorate one of the most important events of humanity: the connections that were created through it.
Since traces fade in seconds in water, this work is presented as a way to immortalize their presence, as an effort to force their persistence over time, because our existence is based on leaving traces that demonstrate our presence.

Aluminium wire installation. 7.00m x 4.00m x 2.50m.

Water, a vehicle that drags, connects and changes, leaves indelible traces despite its oscillation. Those prints that seem to vanish, are recovered in “Structures of Memory….Trails”, by Guillermo Anselmo Vezzosi as a way of immortalizing its presence, of imposing persistence. In a complex web, the sea and its vast frenzy try to last.
His works are characterized by the union of segments of aluminium knotted wire woven between them. This weaves a wold of relations where space and light also share meaning.
