What is time if not a succession of events that we try to control while, inevitably, we begin to forget? In this individual exhibition, the artist Guillermo Anselmo Vezzosi invites us to delve into an intriguing exploration of themes linked to memory, identity, territory and climate change, inviting us to new readings from a transdisciplinary perspective that crosses aesthetics, philosophy, technology, science and politics among others.

Its staging and multidisciplinary research allows us to interpret its visual manifestations as disruptive and culturally transformative materialities, since they urge us to reflect on the compendium of facts and circumstances that shape what we experience today as the present, the echoes of our brief existence, on this plane, and the reverberant environmental impact of our passage on the planet. Vezzosi's work connects with spaces that unite land, water and the city through the reuse of materials to create monumental and imaginary landscapes, investigating history and memory through materials that resonate with an echo that tries to inevitably prolong the existence of something that disappeared.

The past, which fades into oblivion, is nothing more than the accumulation of the situations and circumstances that shaped the present. Like the echo that momentarily lingers in the environment, familiar images emerge to evoke another time, another era. Images that preserved a harmony now lost. However, our presence has destabilized that balance, accelerating an inevitable process towards the feared oblivion. But how can we fight against our own essence? We cannot help but forget, because our existence depends on it.

In this search for answers, the Argentine artist delves into an investigation that results in installations, projections and different materialities to question fundamental aspects of our identity. His work is nourished by collaboration with Dr. Larour of NASA, to explore the relationship between rising sea levels and humanity, combining science, art and technology.

Merging scientific data with artistic expressions emerges as a joint effort to prolong the existence of the ephemeral. The artist's purpose, tools and strategies transport us towards future monumental landscapes, where land, water and the city are intertwined in a fragile balance.

In short, the exhibition constitutes an invitation to contemplate and question our own existence, to immerse ourselves in reflection on the complex relationship between humanity, the planet and time. At this meeting, we face the need to preserve memory and address the challenges of climate change. With a powerful aesthetic proposal, the exhibition invites us to explore a new path towards consciousness and action.
